  1. For the quote of the day I think that a champion sets a goals and keeps working at it until they acomplishes it the right way its suppose to be done. Even if its hard they keep working at it. One thing I hope to accomplish at the pumpkin classic is focusing on the basics including:
    -stick down
    -having quick feet
-getting in front of the girl
-also endurence to get the game moving at a faster pace then what I am used to
I am really looking forward to the tournement!!!!
    GO WILDCATS!!!!!!

  4. Setting goals helps you achieve them. So does the hard work in practice and the focus in games.

  5. My personal goals are not to hack at all and to jab more often and to get open for passes, and to always have my stick down. The champions will keep going till they get it right.

  6. For the quote, I think that he means that you need to work hard to become the best that you can be. You need to set goals for yourself and set the bar as high as you can, and keep trying to reach it until you do. Once you finally meet that goal, set another one. Even the best field hockey players have something that they can work on, and should work on.

My personal goals for the tournament is to have my stick down and to have quicker feet. I also want to use more jabs.

(By the way, I did this on my Mom's computer which is why it says Lisa, sorry!)

I think that champions push themselves to be the best they can be. They set goals and strive to achieve them. My goals are to keep mmy stick down always, hitting more powerful drives, clearing the ball and getting open for a pass.

  8. From Merrill
: That you cannot keep the ball to your self, you need to work as a team, you need to respect each other, and try to include everything.
