Day 5
Quote for the day: "Competing in sports has taught me that if I'm not willing to give 120%, somebody else will."
Question: What did you learn about your playing ability after playing against Deer Path? (who we will play again in this tournament)
Well, the weather didn't cooperate for practice today. No practice on Friday. I will send a reminder e-mail to you and your parents this weekend. Stay healthy!!!

Day 4
Today's Quote: Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -- a desire, a dream, a vision."
--Muhammad Ali
Question: What is it about playing field hockey that you really enjoy? Give details!
Great practice tonight - dream about - going down the sideline - passing the ball up to a teammate. Having your stick down and PUSHING it into the goal - oh that is a thing of beauty!!! Sweet dreams!!!

Day 1 - Get Fired Up for the Tournament!
During the week prior to our tournament at Oak Park – better known as the Pumpkin Tournament , your coaches want you to be focused and reflect on the season and how we can go into the tournament ready to play some of our toughest competition of your Middle School field hockey experience. We as coaches are very proud of you as players and individuals – we want you to feel positive about yourself and be strong members of our TEAM.
Also enjoy the video I created with Mr. G's photo's from the last game of the season of the 8th grade girls at Winnetka.
Quote for the day: There is no “I” in TEAM.
Please comment: How would you apply today’s quote to your play in the upcoming tournament?
