During the week prior to our tournament at Oak Park – better known as the Pumpkin Tournament , your coaches want you to be focused and reflect on the season and how we can go into the tournament ready to play some of our toughest competition of your Middle School field hockey experience. We as coaches are very proud of you as players and individuals – we want you to feel positive about yourself and be strong members of our TEAM.
Also enjoy the video I created with Mr. G's photo's from the last game of the season of the 8th grade girls at Winnetka.
Quote for the day: There is no “I” in TEAM.
Please comment: How would you apply today’s quote to your play in the upcoming tournament?
It is a good reminder that we all have to work together as a team.

I can definetly apply this quote into the tournement we out about to play because every one of us is a member on the team. Meaning we all have different skill levels, different personalities, different points of veiw on the game, but our difference help join us as one. By understanding others and helping eachother working and getting better so that our TEAM can progress forward and play field hockey at an all new level. By working hard as one we can accomplish as one....One person isn't going to win that trophie...that whole team is....so we have to work as one to be number one!

ReplyDeleteIt reminds us that we must play together in order to succeed. Even if you are not friends with people on the team, you must play together to win and be a better player. If you think about it, there isn't one player on the field, because then you would not succeed or have fun. So, you use your teammates to succeed, have fun, and hopefully WIN! Also, if you pass and work as a team, other people will pass to you and respect you more. :) xoxoxoxoxo harriette
